Production of kharif onion under North Indian conditions is tough job because of monsoons and very high temperature. Bulb development in most of the varieties is restricted with the result the farmers suffer if the variety is does not form bulbs. Here are some of the selections which we harvested today under North Indian conditions. Colour of the bulbs is dark red and bulb size is also good.
